Hormones Known to be in the Placenta:
Oxytocin - The “feel good” or “love hormone”. Creates feelings of bonding, pain relief, happiness and elation.
Cortisone - This hormone unlocks energy stored in the body and combats stress. (cortisol)
Interferon - This hormone stimulates the immune system to fight off infections while the mother is healing
Prostaglandins - Acts as an anti-inflammatory.
Hemoglobin - Replenishes iron, stimulates iron production
Urokinase Inhibiting Factor and Factor XIII - Lessens bleeding and promotes faster healing.
Prolactin/HPL - Stimulates healthy mammary function and milk production.
Placenta is rinsed, sliced, dehydrated, crushed and encapsulated yielding on average 120-160 pills. Includes 24/7 pick-up & delivery at Grand Rapids hospitals, Metro Health Hospital & Zeeland Community Hospital.
Specialist will come to your birthing space during the immediate postpartum to prepare a fruit smoothie including about 1 oz of raw placenta. Includes 24/7 preparation at Grand Rapids hospitals, Metro Health & Zeeland Community Hospitals.
2019 IRS mileage rate of .58/mile is added for miles traveled over 15 to other birthing locations for pick up and delivery
A thumb-nail sized piece of placenta will ferment in 100-proof alcohol for 6 weeks. The resulting tincture has an indefinite shelf life
and can be used for energy & hormonal stabilization during transitional events.
Placenta Print $25*
Specialist prints on 11x15 heavy weight water color paper. Print is made using food-grade dyes in custom colors. Prints can be made with placenta's natural coloring as well.
*Fee listed is with the cost with encapsulation. Add $75 for services ala carte. Service will be completed in client's home.
A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at contract signing and is applied to your total cost.
